Colour!

'Colour!' is my self-directed 7 minute film about a vibrant little girl who struggles to come to terms with standing out from the crowd on her first day at school in her new all-blue neighborhood.

I pitched this film with my then studio Italic Pig to Northern Ireland Screen's Creative Call to Animation Scheme in 2020 and was lucky enough to be one of the two projects selected to receive funding in Northern Ireland. As well as directing and writing the script, I also worked on modelling, visual development, lighting and compositing for the project. The film was rendered entirely using Blender's Realtime engine Eevee.

I'm very grateful to NI Screen and the BFI Institute as well as the team that helped me bring this story to the screen. It's something close to my heart and I'm very excited to showcase the film in Ireland and worldwide. 
'Colour!' is still doing the festival circuit this year - so keep an eye out!
